Coastal Clouds

$425.00

8 x 11.5”

This painting was started with an all-over wet surface that lent itself so beautifully to the stormy clouds of the west coast. It’s a place I remember well and go back to often in my thoughts and in my painting. This time, it provided some real peace during weeks of upheaval. I love the splashes across the paper too, like a rainy day coming against a glass window…. The painting reflects the peace found in the process and in the final result.
