Summer's Embrace
A two panel (diptych) painting that combines my abstract musings in watercolour ink with some representational trees. Taking me once again to the west coast and even tot he Rocky Mountains, since pine trees grow in both regions!
I loved the vibrancy of the colours in the background and made the trees blend with it somewhat as they do in real life.
Summer always helps me embrace colour in my work as nature has shown it blooming all around me. Summer brings an explosion of colour that is inspiring and gorgeous!
