$2,400.00

26x34” Framed

A landscape started with watercolour ink and abstracted to the point of no brush work. Just me, the paint and my art board tilted at various angles into clear washes of water. How exciting this was! If ever there was a chance to view watercolours in motion and what they naturally do, this was it. After that, I wanted some Canadian wildlife to anchor my landscape in home country. So I picked up my brushes and along came some Canada geese, flying in the sky and taking a break on the shoreline. I love how I’ve stylized them and revealed their strength and beauty. This whole painting was new and full of learning, and yet calling upon long-held skills. It came to be an amazing result that I will be exploring more and more.
